FAQs
It depends on the current rating of your golf cart's controller. This battery is compatible with any controller rated at 1000A or below.
The OGRPHY 48V 105Ah battery delivers a 200A continuous current and a 1000A peak current, which is designed to meet the power requirements of the vast majority of golf carts on the market.
We highly recommend using our 48V battery charger for optimal performance. You can purchase it separately or choose our convenient battery+charger combo set.
If you prefer to use an existing charger, please ensure it meets the following specifications:
- Type: Lithium battery charger
- Voltage: 56.8V - 58.4V
- Current: 20A - 30A
Solar charging is also supported via solar panels and an MPPT controller. For detailed setup instructions, please consult the product manual.
We recommend charging the battery when the remaining capacity reaches 20%. You can easily check this via the Bluetooth app or the monitoring instrument.
Why 20%?
- Prevents Over-Discharging: Charging at this level prevents the battery from being over-discharged, which can cause temporary damage or render the battery unusable.
- Extends Lifespan: 20% remaining capacity is considered the optimal discharge depth for lithium batteries. Maintaining this habit will significantly prolong the overall lifespan of your battery.
1. Storage Environment:Store the battery individually in a dry and warm indoor location.
- Temperature Warning: Ensure the storage temperature does not exceed 45°C (113°F).
- Disconnect Charger: Do not leave the battery connected to a charger during storage.
2. Long-term Maintenance:
- Ideal Practice: If possible, perform a full charge and discharge cycle every 3 months to keep the battery cells active and healthy.
- Alternative Practice: If regular cycling is not feasible, charge the battery to 50% capacity before putting it into long-term storage.
If you are unable to connect the Bluetooth app to the battery, please follow these steps:
- Verify the App: Ensure you have downloaded the correct version of the app for your device (iOS and Android have different versions). Please scan the QR code in the product manual.
- Check Bluetooth: Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your phone.
- Connection Sequence: Open the app first, then search for and select the battery from the Bluetooth list within the app.
- Proximity: Move your phone closer to the battery (within 10 meters) and ensure there are no obstacles blocking the signal.
- Power State: Try connecting while the battery is either charging or discharging.
- Cross-Test: Attempt to connect using a different phone to determine if the issue is with the original device.
